Another U.S.-made HIMARS launcher destroyed in Ukraine

Russia’s Defense Ministry has released footage appearing to show a ballistic missile strike on a US-supplied Ukrainian HIMARS multiple rocket launcher system. The system was discovered by surveillance drone in a hangar in the village of Novopetrovka, and was hit with a missile fired by an Iskander-M system, according to reports by the Russian military, who said the HIMARS and its crew had both been taken out.

HIMARS systems are routinely targeted and destroyed by the Russian military, touted by Kiev as the ultimate long-range, high-precision weapon capable of striking high-value Russian targets.
