Gaza's Unseen Death Toll w/ Dr. Mads Gilbert

In Gaza, garbage, infected sewage, diseases, and infections flow freely. They’ve become as significantly deathly towards the local population as the Israeli bombs. Is the death toll in Gaza in reality much higher than the circa 40,000 Palestinians, that Israel has officially killed since the 8th of October 2023?

In the 33rd episode of ‘A talk about Palestine’ Omar Shargawi is again joined by Professor Dr. Mads Gilbert. Mads Gilbert is a doctor, humanitarian, activist, and politician in Norway. He’s specialized in anaesthesiology and head of the department of emergency medicine at the university hospital in Northern Norway, as well as a professor of emergency medicine at the University of Tromsø. He’s worked as a physician at multiple hospitals in war zones, in Gaza as well, and has thereby witnessed the horrors that the populace of Gaza is suffering under, with his own eyes.

In this episode Omar Shargawi and Mads Gilbert talk about what Dr. Mads might be most knowledgeable about; the specific circumstances that affect the overall health crisis for the Palestinians during the ongoing genocide, the finding of the polio virus, and collapse of healthcare in Gaza, as well as a strong call to action for the privileged free people of the west, as to what we can and should do to help.
