Turning a Scammer's Day into a Nightmare

Camille Benoit received a call from scammers pretending to be from her bank, CIBC, about suspicious charges on her Visa debit card. The scammer convinced her to open a virtual bank account and withdraw $4,500 from her local branch. Once at Walmart, he instructed her to buy four $500 gift cards. I pretended to be a Walmart clerk and later made the scammer's life difficult by making the gift card numbers inaudible. This continued for an hour, and even his boss got the same treatment.
