Alliance police rescue kitten stuck in the gears of a reclining chair

Two Alliance police officers rescued a kitten stuck in the gears of an electric reclining chair.

The owner called police Tuesday morning, asking for help.

Officers Bob Rajcan and Tye Lauener responded to the home on Summit Street and found the animal trapped inside the bottom of the chair.

The officers used a set of tools to safely free the kitten.

“Not your typical police work, but they did a great job helping the family save the little thing. Big thanks to the City of Alliance Fire Department for their assistance as well! Kitten is doing well,” said Alliance police.
