Riot in UK city of Leeds, rioters flipped over a police car

Violence broke out in British city of Leeds with rioters overturning a police car and setting a double-decker bus on fire. According to İndependent,
people in the Harehills area of Leeds were urged to stay at home as officers were called to Luxor Street due to an “ongoing disturbance” involving agency workers and children.
While the children were moved to a safe place, crowds gathered and the situation escalated, with objects thrown at police.
İt is noted that West Yorkshire police had arrived at a residential street to deal with a disturbance seemingly brought on by a row over children from a Roma family being taken into care by social services. A crowd started to gather, tensions were inflamed and the outnumbered officers were forced to retreat. They left behind a police car, which was smashed and flipped on to its side.
A raging group of rioters flipped over a police car in the streets after a disturbance reported turned into an hours-long riot.
Footage posted on social media shows gangs of youths targeting a police car with officers sitting inside, before smashing the vehicle's windows as onlookers film the carnage.
The West Yorkshire force has confirmed the unrest in Harehills was sparked after officers went to assist social workers dealing with a child protection issue and came under attack.
As the disorder escalated, damage was caused to vehicles and several fires set.
Several arrests were made in relation to the disorder.
Police said there would be further arrests in the coming days as they vowed to "leave no stone unturned" in their hunt for those behind disorder.
Investigators are currently reviewing social media to identify those involved.
There will be a significant policing presence within Harehills over the weekend and future attempts to engage in crime and disorder will be met with a robust response.
