Biblical Audio Commentary – Israel Strives with God

The narrative of Jacob wrestling with the Angel of the Lord foreshadows the nation of Israel striving with God. Jacob had served Laban twenty years to earn his two wives and all the livestock he took with him when he fled back to the land of Canaan. It was during this flight that he had an encounter he surely didn’t expect.
