Paris Olympic chaos as France's rail network paralyzed by 'massive arson attack

In what has been called "an attack on France" and "coordinated sabotage," several "malicious" actions, including fire, attacked France's high-speed rail lines on Friday in an attempt to impede traffic ahead of the Paris Olympics opening ceremony.

Eight members of the Extinction Rebellion movement were arrested on the morning of July 23 in the Paris metro. Before that, they pasted stickers with information about the negative aspects of the 2024 Olympic Games at the Montparnasse-Bienvenu and Assembly National stations.
