Is Our Advantage In This War With The Internet Coming To An End With A.I?

I am not seeing any discussion regarding the advancement of AI on the internet. AI is rapidly generating realistic images and videos. It will not be too much longer before you cannot tell the difference between reality or fake. Once we reach that threshold, the information battlespace will be neutralised by the Evil people. They will be able to inject so much confusion and distrust in what we see, that the communication & Information battle will be over. We need to end this war very quickly before we lose the advantage we have.
