"Kansas City Confidential" is an American film noir crime film released in 1952, directed by Phil Karlson. The plot follows an ex-convict named Joe Rolfe (John Payne), who is framed for a million-dollar armored car robbery he didn't commit. Determined to clear his name, Rolfe tracks down the real culprits, a gang of masked criminals led by a disgruntled former police captain, Tim Foster (Preston Foster). As he infiltrates the gang, Rolfe becomes embroiled in a dangerous game of cat and mouse, risking his life to expose the truth and bring the criminals to justice.
