Bushcraft Shelter Build - Episode 1

It is time to build a new shelter, a new camp. Not necessarily a new base camp but a new camp.

On a family hike (not on film) on private land I have camped at a few times, we explore more into the woods and go farther in than I did before. We found what I wanted to find, a creek. A water source for drinking and cleaning cook pots without having to pack water in and out.

As we walked along the creek into the flatland forest I was on the lookout for a perfect spot to build a shelter. Having seen what its like in the promised land, I head to the area to get started on the build.

I chose to make this a raw footage series to show the process of the shelter from start to finish. There will be minimal editing but nothing fancy. I hope you enjoy and thanks for watching!
