Oreo Dirt Cake Recipe
Ingredients:
1 package (14.3 oz) Oreo cookies
1/2 cup butter, softened
1 package (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
1 cup powdered sugar
2 packages (3.4 oz each) instant vanilla pudding mix
3 1/2 cups milk
1 container (12 oz) Cool Whip, thawed
Gummy worms (optional for decoration)
Instructions:
Prepare the Oreos:

Crush the Oreo cookies into fine crumbs using a food processor or by placing them in a ziplock bag and crushing with a rolling pin. Set aside.
Make the Cream Mixture:

In a medium bowl, beat the softened butter and cream cheese until smooth.
Gradually add the powdered sugar, mixing until well combined.
Prepare the Pudding:

In a separate large bowl, whisk together the instant pudding mixes and milk until thickened, about 2 minutes.
Let the pudding sit for a couple of minutes to firm up.
Combine Mixtures:

Gently fold the cream cheese mixture into the pudding until well blended.
Fold in the Cool Whip until completely combined.
Assemble the Cake:

In a 9x13-inch dish or large trifle bowl, layer the ingredients starting with a third of the crushed Oreos at the bottom.
Spread half of the pudding mixture over the Oreo layer.
Repeat the layers, ending with a final layer of crushed Oreos on top.
Chill:

Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight to allow the flavors to meld and the dessert to set.
Decorate and Serve:

If desired, decorate the top with gummy worms to create a "dirt" effect.
Serve chilled.
