Once Islas, an eco-cultural tourism attraction, opened its doors to the public in July 2018. This unique destination is composed of 11 picturesque islands spread across the Moro Gulf, specifically within the barangays of Panubigan and Dita in Zamboanga del Sur. These islands offer a diverse array of natural beauty and cultural experiences, making them a perfect getaway for nature enthusiasts and culture seekers alike.
Out of the 11 islands, three are accessible to visitors through registration at the office of Barangay Panubigan. These islands are, Baung-Baung Island, Bisaya-Bisaya Island, and Sirommon Island.

Bisaya-Bisaya Island and Sirommon Island are renowned for their pristine beaches and crystal-clear waters, making them ideal spots for swimming and snorkeling. Visitors can explore vibrant coral reefs teeming with marine life, providing an unforgettable underwater adventure.

The beaches are perfect and the waters are amazing and full of life. Thanks to the protected status and local efforts the corals are re-growing into an amazing eco system again! I look forward to returning one day and seeing how much the reefs have grown and flourished.
