Pine Bluff City Hall & Company has advanced itself to prominence in the ranks of corrupt administrations, brought Pine Bluff national recognition as the fastest shrinking city, and get and give each other awards for trying to revitalize Pine Bluff. Go Forward Pine Bluff fooled the people into investing (actually squandering) tens of millions of dollars on the streetscape project which was supposed to revitalize Pine Bluff. It failed, the same as every previous boondoggle like it has failed even though, as Tommy May pointed out, the past plans failed because "they didn’t spend enough on them." So, now City Hall & Co. is throwing another $300,000 at an out of state consulting firm to tell us how to revitalize Pine Bluff. Wasn't the 50 million dollar GFPB plan with its pillars and committees supposed be already doing that?
I say BRING PINE BLUFF REAL VITALITY, spend that money to offset taxes, fees, code enforcement costs and other expenses and burdens put by the city on builders and people trying to start businesses. That would do a lot more to BRING PINE BLUFF REAL VITALITY.
