Sheesh! Whoopi Goldberg and her co-hosts of ABC’s ‘The View’ are dragging former President Donald Trump’s Vice President pick, Senator J.D. Vance (R-OH), for once suggesting Vice President Kamala Harris is a “childless cat lady.” In July 2021, during his bid for Senate, J.D. Vance told former Fox News host Tucker Carlson that “we are effectively run in this country via the Democrats, via our corporate oligarchs, by a bunch of childless cat ladies who are miserable at their own lives.”

He continued, “They want to make the rest of the country miserable too. It’s a basic fact. Look at Kamala Harris, Pete Buttigieg, AOC (Alexandra Ocasio-Cortez). The entire future of the Democrats is controlled by people without children. And how does it make any sense that we’ve turned our country over to people who don’t really have a direct stake in it?” The resurfaced and viral clip made its way to the ‘The View,’ where Whoopi Goldberg slammed Vance and fired off, “Sir, There are people who have chosen not to have children for whatever reason. There are people who want to have children who cannot – how dare you!?” Goldberg continued, “You never had a baby. Your wife had a baby. But you never had a baby. So, you know nothing about this. And how dare you?! And women, you heard how he thinks of you. This is not good for you, J.D.”

Co-hosts Joy Behar and Sara Haines continued to slam Vance, with Haines disagreeing with him bout her children having any factor in her political opinions. Co-host Sunny Hostin also commented and called J.D. Vance’s comments a “myopic view” of childless voters, like those who simply choose not to have children, who sadly cannot carry children, or college students who haven’t gotten to that point in life. Co-host Alyssa Farah Griffin followed, and ending the clip, Hostin, a mother of two children then added, “I’m a cat lady,” and Goldberg, who has a daughter, laughed and called herself “the ultimate cat lady!”
