*Here’s a simple yet powerful practice to help you connect deeply with your heart center, facilitating a profound sense of love, compassion, and unity with all that is. Find a quiet space, choose a peaceful and comfortable spot where you can sit undisturbed for a few minutes. This could be a favorite corner of your home, a spot in nature, or any place where you feel relaxed and safe.

Set your intention. Before beginning, set a clear intention for this exercise. You might say to yourself or out loud, "I open my heart to receive and give love freely, to connect deeply with my true essence, and to embrace unity with all beings."

Close your eyes and take a few deep, slow breaths. With each inhalation, imagine drawing in peace and calm. With each exhalation, release any tension or discomfort you may be holding. Next, turn your attention to your heart center located in the middle of your chest. Imagine a bright emerald green light glowing in this area. With each breath, see this light becoming brighter and more vibrant.

Now silently or softly chant the spiral or seed mantra for the heart chakra, "Yum." As you repeat this sound, feel the vibration expanding and deepening your connection to love and compassion. Next, visualize the green light from your heart expanding outward, enveloping you in a warm, comforting glow.

Imagine this light extending further, reaching out to your loved ones, your community, and even to those you may have difficulties with. Send them love and gratitude. Now imagine this radiant green light spreading further beyond your immediate surroundings, connecting you with the heart of the Earth, the cosmos, and all living beings. Feel a profound sense of oneness and unconditional love.

Practice this heart chakra activation exercise regularly, especially during times of significant energy shifts, this coming August of your calendar. It will not only aid in opening your heart chakra but also support you in navigating the waves of change with grace, compassion, and a deep sense of interconnectedness with all that is.*
