Dig Or Die | Great Terraria Inspired Survival Game

My reviews cover indie games that i have bought, had gifted to me and have been provided by developers for review.

In this episode I check out a new Sci Fi Survival Game called Dig Or Die on the PlayStation. This game was developed by Gaddy Games, and was published by the guys at Blitworks, who have published several awesome games ive previously reviewed including They Are Billions, Vagante, Heroes Of Hammerwatch and Everhood Eternity Edition

Dig Or Die has the player in the role of a humble Salesman, providing high tech terraforming tools for the Craft And Co Company. After your spaceship crashes on the surface of a hostile alien planet, you will need to use the tools of your trade to create materials, weapons and tools, to survive the planets hostile conditions whilst building a base with walls, traps and turrets. Dig or die features a large world with several different biomes, each with their own enemies and hazards and five huge bosses to defeat. As you unlock additional technology you can gain access to a wide variety of weapons including shotguns, chainguns and plasma rifles, and high tech tools such as jetpacks and teleporters.

The game also features a dynamic difficulty in addition to the five difficulty levels, where the games challenge increases based on your progress exploring the planets depths. While i did greatly enjoy completing the campaign of Dig or Die I recommend picking up the Steam version of the game, as it includes a Cooperative Mode where you can survive together with your friends, and this is the best way to experience the game.
