The Evil Dead is a gory comic horror film about a group of friends who unintentionally summon an evil force while staying in a remote log cabin in the woods. The story follows Ash (Bruce Campbell) and his girlfriend Linda, along with their friends Cheryl, Shelly, and Scotty, who arrive at the cabin for a relaxing getaway. Unbeknownst to them, the cabin contains the infamous Necronomicon, a book of the dead, which they discover and accidentally unleash its dark powers.
