News broke Wednesday night: U.S. District Judge Sherilyn Peace Garnett has denied Disney's motion to dismiss Gina Carano's lawsuit -- which means we're going to discovery! Garnett says that Disney "failed to set forth an 'impenetrable defense' that they can hide behind the 1st amendment.

Meanwhile, the Disney board has lost a member with the departure of Safra Catz, probably due to a potential conflict of interest in the wake of Skydance's deal with Paramount.

And Disney's stock price has stayed below $100 a share -- we've got Dan Danford (and maybe Mikey the Mexican Iron Man) weighing in on the financial stuff.
