The Rostov Ripper, Andrei Chikatilo, also known as "The Butcher of Rostov," "The Forest Strip Killer," "The Red Ripper," "The Maniac," is one serial killer with many names. Andrei Chikatilo would be convicted of the murder of 53 victims, though he admitted to 56, whose crimes spanned from 1978 - 1990.

Incredibly, he was right under authorities' very noses the entire time, but always seemed to get away.
