Around 200 pro-Palestine protestors arrested inside Capitol building ahead of Netanyahu visit

The mass protest was quashed by police Tuesday, a day before Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu is set to address Congress over his country's war in Gaza.

About 200 Jewish Voice for Peace activists encamped in the Cannon House Office Building as their leader accused Israel of "carrying out a genocide, armed and funded by the US Congress".

Republican Rep. Mike Lawler later claimed that they were "an embarrassment", and that Hamas would "very likely kill them" if they were in Gaza.
