Major League Baseball (MLB) is considering testing robot umpires in spring training next year, with a potential full rollout in the 2026 season.

Commissioner Rob Manfred indicated that spring training in 2024 could be used to trial the technology, with a 2026 debut possible if issues are resolved, ABC News has reported.
