Trailer RELEASED For Joker Folie a Deux

Warner Brothers has just released the official trailer for Joker Folie a Deux, the sequel to the 2019 film from Todd Phillips.

The second outing as the titular character for Joaquin Phoenix will see failed comedian Arthur Fleck meet the love of his life, Harley Quinn, while incarcerated at Arkham State Hospital and, upon release, the two embark on a doomed romantic misadventure. Alongside Joaquin Phoenix, Lady Gaga will star as the inimitable Harley Quinn, who tells Arthur Fleck "you can do anything. You're Joker." Zazie Beetz will also be reprising her role in this sequel as Arthur's neighbor, Sophie Dumond. Joining the cast list are Catherine Keener and Brandon Gleeson.

Originally described as a musical, director Todd Phillips has since come out and clarified that the film itself will not be a musical, but that music would be an "essential element" in the film. Phillips also went on to say that despite this, the film wouldn't "veer" to far away from the original
