First Cycle of Sunflowers Bloom - Explosion of Color

Triggered by the heat? Whatever the starting gun was, a great many of the first (of three planting cycles) bloomed over a night or two. Sudden huge discs of bright yellow; love 'em despite not being a high-yield crop. Roasted seeds are great with a large amount going to stock and the birds in sparse seasons. The small multiple head ones are native and considered a weed but these were allowed so their many vivid blooms call in the pollinators that may not see the important viner blooms below.
And with 2,498 more five-foot stems, I can build a fence.
