Media Spotlight: 'Unbiased' media sheds tears for Biden's departure

Last week the GOP held their convention in Milwaukee, and in many instances the media was in rare form. Questions were raised about the wound suffered by Donald Trump during the attempt on his life. There were attempts made to equate Trump being shot with Joe Biden's COVID diagnosis. The race card was played, with J.D. Vance accused of believing in the "supremacy of whiteness and masculinity", while Senator Tim Scott was referred to as "Tom". There was some pushback by Donald Trump Jr. and a Florida Congressman who fact-checked the CNN "fact-checker." Meanwhile Joe Biden received universal praise for dropping out of the presidential race, with CNN's Van Jones even shedding a tear live on air.
