Have you ever let anyone hear you? The REAL you? Do you prefer to emulate someone else?

We often spend a significant amount of time and energy trying to be like other people due to various societal pressures and influences. Society often emphasizes certain ideals and standards of success, beauty, and acceptance, which leads us to believe that by emulating others who possess these qualities, we too can achieve happiness and fulfillment.

This desire to fit in and be accepted can be so overpowering that we suppress our true selves. We fear judgment, criticism, and rejection if we were to reveal our authentic thoughts, desires, and talents to the world. Consequently, we try to mold ourselves into someone else's image, adopting their interests, beliefs, and behavior, and ultimately neglecting our own uniqueness.

Facing our fears is easier said than done, especially when it involves putting our true selves on display. In this week's episode we tackle the twisted dance between fear, pride, and the desire to appear perfect. With God’s guidance, we can step out in faith and invest in our personal growth while maintaining a balance between authenticity and respect.
