Israel Attacks Khan Younis July 22 2024

The terrorists Israeli forces sent tanks back into the greater Khan Younis area, after ordering evacuations of some in the districts, then started bombing minutes after the evacuation order, killing over 70 Palestinians.

Palestinians were killed by tank salvos in the town of Bani Suhaila. And other towns fringing the eastern side of Khan Younis, the area was also bombarded from the air.

Residents of the densely built-up area of southern Gaza said, that the tanks advanced for more than two kilometers into Bani Suhaila. Forcing residents to flee under fire.

The dead included several women and children, and over 200 people had been wounded.

Around 400,000 people were living in the targeted areas, and dozens of families had begun to leave their houses, as they were not given time to get out of harm’s way before the terrorists Israeli forces strikes began.

Some families fled on donkey carts, others on foot, carrying mattresses and other belongings.

Palestinians in eastern Khan Younis were forced to evacuate and move west into al-Mawasi, under new Israeli army orders that further shrink the "humanitarian area" of al-Mawasi, which has been repeatedly targeted by the terrorists Israeli forces, including a massive attack earlier in July that killed over 71 people.

Local witnesses reported artillery shelling in the area, just minutes after the new orders were issued, leaving people with little time to safely evacuate.

Humanitarian conditions in the territory continue to deteriorate, reports of outbreak of diseases continues to rise, as summer temperatures rise alongside collapsed public services. Nine-months of Israeli bombings, have displaced 90 percent of the population, and Israel impose a severe blockade of aid, creating man made famine in the enclave.
