Russian security arrest two over Ukraine-backed mosque terror plot

Two Russian citizens have been arrested in Mariupol, after a plot to set fire to a mosque in the Belgorod region was uncovered. The plot was hatched under the instruction of Ukrainian special services, according to Russia’s FSB. The two detainees immediately confessed to the plot, and are now under investigation for terrorist activities.

They also noted that they had terminated another attempt by Kiev to ‘to incite inter-confessional hostilities’ in Russian territory
