Fleeting Effects II -219
This addresses some strategies for painting the changing appearances of things like movements of clouds or light or models in poses that can’t be held for long. Discussion of the immediate and then long-term memory as well as the use of the imagination.

QUESTION:
Hi Paul, could you briefly comment on how you linked the memory study into the imaginative painting of Dawn? For instance, did you use a model in the original memory study, or did you simply capture the color relationships on alternative forms and later apply them to a (live?) model?
I’m wondering if you go into the topic of chasing the light & solutions in greater detail in any of your other videos? Similarly, I’m also wondering what techniques could be used to capture fleeting expressions, scenes in motion, or ensembles.
