The Limping Man (1953)
"The Limping Man" is a British film noir released in 1953, directed by Cy Endfield (under the pseudonym Charles de Lautour due to being blacklisted in Hollywood). The plot follows Frank Prior, an American war veteran who returns to England after six years to reconnect with his wartime sweetheart, Pauline. He discovers she's involved with a dangerous spy ring, and their search for a limping sniper leads to a series of twists and turns. The film stars Lloyd Bridges as Frank Prior, Moira Lister as Pauline French, and Alan Wheatley as Inspector Braddock.
