It Happened Tomorrow (1944)
"It Happened Tomorrow" is an American fantasy comedy film released in 1944, directed by René Clair. The plot follows Lawrence Stevens, an ambitious young reporter who mysteriously receives the next day's newspaper every morning. He uses this knowledge to his advantage, becoming a star reporter and gaining wealth, but soon learns that knowing the future can be a curse as he discovers his own untimely demise in the newspaper. The film stars Dick Powell as Lawrence Stevens, Linda Darnell as Sylvia Smith, and Jack Oakie as Uncle Oscar Smith.
