2020 Purim: "The Persian Queen" parody of "The Lion King"

The 2020 Purim performance of "The Persian Queen", the Megillah (Book of Esther) told through the lens and music of "The Lion King."

Performance at Congregation Eitz Chaim. "The Persian Queen" Written, Produced, and Directed by Rusty Acheson.

All but one song is borrowed from its use and expression in Disney's "The Lion King." In most cases (Except "Be Prepared") the lyrics have been re-written.

"L-O-V-E" is a song written by Bert Kaempfert and Milt Gabler, recorded by Nat King Cole for his 1965 studio album L-O-V-E.
