"Buck Rogers" is an American science fiction serial film released in 1939, directed by Ford Beebe and Saul A. Goodkind. The plot follows Captain Buck Rogers, a 20th-century pilot who, along with his young friend Buddy Wade, is trapped in suspended animation and awakens 500 years later in the 25th century. They discover a world controlled by the ruthless dictator Killer Kane and join the resistance fighters in their struggle to overthrow his tyrannical regime. The serial stars Buster Crabbe as Buck Rogers, Jackie Moran as Buddy Wade, and Constance Moore as Wilma Deering.
