Scripture First

We need to go to God's word before we decide what to teach on an issue, make up our minds, take sides, or criticize others. People have a tendency to see what they want to see and to seize upon interpretations that confirm their own biases. We need to use God's revealed word, not our own opinions or other human authority, to know how to follow Him.
