Russo Brothers in Talks to RETURN for Avengers 5 & 6

The Russo Brothers may be returning to Marvel for the next two Avengers movies!

According to the Hollywood Reporter, sources are telling the outlet that the duo, whose first MCU outing was Captain America: The Winter Soldier, is in early talks with the studio. If hired, this would (hopefully) mark the end of what has been a tumultuous pre-production.

Avengers 5, initially subtitled The Kang Dynasty, has been thrown for a loop since the conviction of Jonathan Majors, the titular Kang, on assault charges. Following the removal of Majors, the attached director, Destin Daniel Cretton (Shang-Chi), left the project. The film has been unable to fully land a director, despite many names being in contention. Most notably of which was Shawn Levy (Deadpool & Wolverine) who has reportedly wowed the studio with his third installment of the Merc with a Mouth's series.
