The Angelus is a Catholic devotion commemorating the Incarnation of Christ. Like other prayers, it got its name from its opening line. It consists of three verses ending with the Hail Prayer and a final prayer. It is said three times a day, at six o'clock in the morning, at noon and at six o'clock in the evening.
