Lee Jinfan (Chinese: 李振藩), better known as Bruce Lee (November 27, 1940 – July 20, 1973), was a Hong Kong-American professional martial artist and actor. He was the founder of the Jeet Kun Do martial style, a fusion of several other martial arts styles that is often regarded as paving the way for mixed martial arts. He is also considered one of the most influential people of the 20th century and a popular symbol in popular culture. [4]

Lee was born in San Francisco's Chinatown, California, but grew up in Hong Kong and returned to San Francisco to attend college at the age of 18. His martial arts films in Hollywood and Hong Kong cinema raised the bar for Hong Kong martial arts films, aroused public acclaim, and sparked a wave of interest in Chinese martial arts (wushu)
