John Jay O'Keefe was born on December 8, 1975, and grew up in Braintree, Massachusetts. He attended Braintree High School and later pursued higher education at Northeastern University, where he earned a master's degree in criminal justice. Since 2014, he had been residing in Canton, Massachusetts, where he took on the responsibility of raising his niece and nephew after their parents passed away. Mr. O'Keefe dedicated 16 years of his life to serving in the Boston Police Department, reflecting his commitment to law enforcement and public service. His tragic death in January 2022 has left a significant impact on his community and loved ones.
