Pikmin (GCN - 2001) playthrough, part 2/24 - Day 2, Eternal Fuel Dynamo recovered

I tried and failed to get the 2nd ship part in The Impact Site. I don't think I ever noticed the wood thingy that the pikmin can extend to be a ladder, first seen at 2:45, during my playthrough. I then move on to The Forest of Hope where I pick up the Eternal Fuel Dynamo. Near the end of the day, I blunder into the water, stupidly killing a bunch of Pikmin.

Played on a GameCube using composite out, running it through a RetroTINK 5X-Pro to an Elgato HD60 X capture card. Recorded in OBS Studio.
