Crowds beat China heatwave at Shanghai waterpark

Thousands of Shanghai residents flocked to a waterpark in the outskirt of the city after it opened for the summer season on Saturday (July 20) amid a heatwave that continued to bake China’s financial hub. Temperatures rose above 100.4 degrees Fahrenheit as large crowds of people splashed in the pools at Playamaya waterpark.
