The American Retirement Nightmare
27
SOBERING FACT: Approximately 57 million Americans are employed by companies that don't provide any retirement savings plans. And early 2000, the percentage of homeless single adults age 50 and older is up to 38%. The one bright spot, Sheriff Bob Fletcher with Ramsey County Sheriffs Department and his group of Deputies patrol the streets looking for homeless people to give them gift cards (dignity and a hot meal) to fast food restaurants in Minneapolis and St. Paul. Along with Sheriff Fletcher, here are the stories what our aging seniors are dealing with out of the eye of most Americans. Thank you to Sheriff Fletcher, Daniel with the Backseaters page on Facebook in allowing me to use their story and share good in such a bleak story.
