June 2024: One of the primary reasons we started this journey into the woods for homesteading was for better health--the 9 to 5 desk jobs staring at a computer screen were breaking us down physically. And a basic need for health is clean water--without all the chlorine, fluoride, herbicides, and who knows what else is soaking into your body when you shower in it and drink it. Now that we have a definite starting point (the best pumping site on the hillside spring) and ending point (the installed water tank), we will begin cutting in a straight route for the water pipes and clearing a building site for the solar and electronics to run this important supply line.
