Liab Duan Market, also known as the Night Market by the Highway, is a popular local night market in Bangkok Thailand. It is situated next to a highway, hence its name, and is a lesser-known destination among tourists.

If you are interested in visiting a non-touristy night market, this is a great place to go. Not many tourists visit this market due to it being mostly unknown outside of the area but it is quite popular with local residents because of its abundance in the range of products sold as well as the affordable prices offered. The new pink BTS line does make it much easier to visit for non locals and the market is a short walk from the nearby station.

You can find almost anything at Liab Duan Night Market from clothes, accessories, vintage items, and antiques to knock-off luxury goods, food, and even a tiny petting zoo.

There are also barbers and nail salons offering very reasonable prices for haircuts and manicure as well. If you get hungry, there are several vendors and stalls selling all kinds of food and drinks.

This night market is open daily until a little after midnight, around 2am, but varies depending on the stores and vendors. The market is open 7 days a week but many shops and some restaurants are likely to close on Mondays.

The market is fun to visit and the best time to come is in the evening between 7 and 9.
