1 Peter 3:18
[18] For Christ also died for sins once for all, the just for the unjust, so that He might bring us to God, having been put to death in the flesh, but made alive in the spirit;

Jesus Christ, as a righteous person, died on behalf of the unrighteous to pay the penalty for sin!!

This act bridges the gap between humanity's sinful nature and God's holiness!

Through Jesus's sacrifice, believers are brought into a restored relationship with God!!

This is not achieved through our own efforts but through the work of Jesus on our behalf!

Jesus was "made alive in the Spirit" after his death, signifying not only his resurrection but also the spiritual renewal and new life that believers can experience through faith in him....

By this we have an encouragement to endure suffering and persecution for the sake of Jesus!!

Remember that Jesus suffered unjustly, yet through His suffering, He accomplished a greater spiritual purpose!

Be encouraged to follow His example in living righteous lives, even if it leads to suffering...

And know there is a greater purpose in God's plan!!

The redemptive work of Jesus also provides practical encouragement and guidance for believers in how to live out their faith in the midst of challenges and trials!!
