Pole Position: The Animated Series (80's Dic Cartoon) Episode 1 - The Code
Ahh Yes,I defentially remember this 80's Cartoon Gem from My Childhood, similar to the 80's Hanna Barbera Pac Man Cartoon, this was another 80's Cartoon Gem based on a Popular Namco Arcade Gem!
In this Case, the Pole Position Cartoon was based on the popular Pole Position Arcade Racing game, however, this show that was produced by "Dic Entertainment" barely has nothing to do with the actual Arcade game, but this show was awsome though, which Daisy Darret was the best part about this show.lol
Yep! That "Dic Entertainment" the same masterminds that brought you the likes of Madeline,Inspector Gadget,Rainbow Brite,The Super Mario Bros Super Show,The Adventures of Super Mario Bros 3,Super Mario World,Captain N THe Game Master and The Real Ghostbusters Cartoon!

" A rogue Pole Position agent by the name of Greg Dumont, a love interest of Tess, is hired by a criminal mastermind by the name of Alex Vance to steal the control codes to Roadie and Wheels in an attempt to get his hands on the high-tech cars and use the A.I.s to destroy Pole Position."

"Pole Position is an animated series produced by DIC Enterprises[1] and MK Company. The series is loosely based on the arcade racing video game series Pole Position, the name of which was licensed from Namco to capitalize on its popularity. The game and the show have very little in common, other than Wheels being red as in Pole Position and Roadie being blue as in Pole Position II. "
"This show was produced by DIC Audiovisuel's American branch DIC Enterprises in association with Japanese studio MK Company. The animation services were provided by Artmic, Mushi Production, and K.K. DIC Asia. The character designs were provided by Filipino cartoonist Jesse Santos, and the mechanical designs were provided by Artmic's co-founder Shinji Aramaki. "
"Pole Position ran for 13 episodes on CBS in 1984 as part of its Saturday morning children's programming line-up, continuing in reruns through September 1986. The show also aired in reruns for a few months as a Showtime "Family-Time Presentation" in 1986,[2] followed by a run on The Family Channel (now Freeform) from the late 1980s through the early 1990s.
