It’s time to step outside Windows and innovate ~ This event should shake decision makers into reality. Most unsettling is a business’s lack of ability to function without a computer. Status quo remains, we will only see more events.

Many things that stopped functioning today were 20 years ago accomplished without a computer, every day.
Contingency plan: shut it down, pass the blame? Microsoft is NOT the only option.

Why are major entities like Airports, Banks, Hospitals, Government (emergency services) and many more, ran only by Microsoft? I know why the Government has incompetent IT, all others are ignorant, cheap, and lazy?

A SolarWinds Update included a backdoor installed in March 2020, redirected in Dec 2020. Nine months Microsoft, the federal Government and many other major companies (think of everything that went down today), sat with an open back door. No one knows what damage was done in those 9 months.
"CrowdStrike (a cybersecurity professional services firm) ....used to identify risks to Microsoft." No, they are not the same just another outsource built to serve.
