From the Law of Moses, the 5 foundational books of the Torah, David learned how to be a Man after God's own Heart.

EXCERPT: "Welcome to the Shuv Show. I'm your host, Christene Jackman.
I wanted to give you an update on my health issue. I'm very happy to report that the surgery went well and it is not cancer. Halleluyah! What a blessing! Thank you to all of you who have been praying for me.
I'm taking it easy this week, resting up. There will be follow-up ultrasound, etc. May that prove to continue to show: no cancer. Now on to: Living Life! He's good. Even if---He's still good. Nothing can happen to me apart from His say-so. He's promised to be with us always, the good and the bad. He is my faithful Covenant Partner, King, Savior/Goel and God.

Tonight, we'll delve into Tehilim / Psalms 19, verse by verse. I'll share insights we gained from our Shabbat Darash & Nosh Parashat Yitro study session.

Often times, English cannot completely capture the rich and complex meaning of a Hebrew word within a single English word. So, as we go through this wonderful Psalm, I'll dive into the Hebrew. Swimming in the deep end is so much more refreshing and rewarding than wading ankle deep in a lukewarm kiddie pool.

Psalm 19 was written, under inspiration by the Ruach HaKodesh, by David, pronounced Dah-veed in Hebrew. David is from the royal line of the tribe of Yehudah/Judah, and ancestor of Messiah Yeshua of Natzeret. In his life on this earth, David was a shepherd, musician/songwriter, mighty warrior, 2nd king of Israel, Melchizedekian Kohen, repentant sinner—and a prophet. Ponder on this for a moment: what Scripture books did David have in his day? Only the first five books of the Bible: Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers, and Deuteronomy. The Books of Moses. Possibly Job? Scholars have differing opinions.

Beresheet (בְּרֵאשִׁית, literally "In the beginning") – Genesis
Shemot (שְׁמֹות, literally "The names [of]") – Exodus
Vayiqra (וַיִּקְרָא, literally "And He called") – Leviticus
Bemidbar (בְּמִדְבַּר, literally "In the desert [of]") – Numbers
Devarim (דְּבָרִים, literally "Things" or "Words") – Deuteronomy

David prophesied in the Psalms regarding the coming Messiah. We know this for a fact because in Luke 24:44, Messiah Yeshua Himself told us: "These are My words which I spoke to you while I was still with you, that all things which are written about Me in the Law of Moses and the Prophets and the Psalms must be fulfilled."

From the Law of Moses, the 5 foundational books of the Torah, David learned how to be a Man after God's own Heart . . . "
