A decrepit wooden billboard got knocked out cold. My Dunbar-Spring neighbor’s roof felt the wrath of a 100-year old conifer. A dense brook drowned my street for almost three hours.📝

“This is the strongest monsoon event for Tucson I’ve seen in my almost 20 years,” said National Weather Service meteorologist Glenn Lader.

The highest wind gust recorded was 76 mph in the Tucson Mountains, but winds in the 60-70 mph range were recorded throughout town.
