Dr. Sabine Hazan: "What's amazing to me is how few people are not bribed, to do the right thing...Nobody can pay me. I've had bribes in the past from pharmaceutical companies and I'm like: No. This serious adverse event is gonna be reported. I don't care if you're gonna blacklist me as a physician. And I've been blacklisted by a lot of pharmaceutical companies that I've reported because ultimately my job on the frontline of research is to make sure that a drug is safe enough to go out and if it's not, it doesn't go out because ultimately I have to sleep at night knowing that I did right for the patient. What is sad is how fast these drugs are going into market right now with such poor data."
