Drone strike on Tel Aviv captured on camera

Footage has been published showing the moment a drone hit a residential building in central Tel Aviv, near Israel’s US embassy. The drone can be seen flying in over the sea, briefly disappearing behind buildings before exploding as it hits the apartment block. At least one person is reported to have been killed, and several others injured.

An Israeli military official said the drone had been detected, but had not been shot down due to ‘human error.’ Yemen’s Houthi militants have claimed responsibility for the strike, but Israel has not confirmed this.
