I Feel Really Bad (Disabled Soccer FAIL)

The other day, I was walking through the park. Up the top of a hill, there was a game of soccer taking place. I could see that there were players in wheelchairs and some with Down syndrome and so on. As I was walking past, the ball came rolling down the hill. One of the players called out, “Can you kick my ball back?”. Of course, I obliged. I made a little bit of a run up and sent the ball flying with a brilliant kick. Unfortunately, it was really windy that day and the ball suddenly changed trajectory and smashed straight into the forehead of this young man and he toppled over like he had just been shot. I ran up to check on him apologising profusely, but it was too late! Another disabled man pulled himself out of his wheelchair screaming, “Jimmy!”. Another guy started running around in circles shouting, “Jimmy’s dead!”. And yet another started hugging Jimmy crying out loud, as if Jimmy had died. It was like a war zone. Jimmy was okay, just a little bit stunned, but I feel really, really bad.
